Lucid Gravity orders are now available in Canada.
The Lucid Gravity can now be ordered in a third country! Earlier this week, Lucid announced that residents of Canada can configure and order their Lucid Gravity. The starting price for the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring is set at $134,500 CAD, while the Lucid Gravity Touring will be released later this year with a price of $113,500 CAD.
Lucid Announces Promotion of Emad Dlala to Senior Vice President of Powertrain
This week, Lucid Motors announced the promotion of Emad Dlala from Vice President of Powertrain to Senior Vice President of Powertrain, effective immediately. Emad has been with Lucid Motors since 2015 and has held various roles, including Motor Design Engineer, Director of Efficiency, and Director of Energy and Technology. He now takes on the role of Senior Vice President of Powertrain.
Emad has played a significant role in achieving the highest efficiency in the market, enabling the Lucid Air to go 5 miles per kWh. He is also heavily involved in developing their next-generation powertrain, with the ambitious goal of reaching 6 miles per kWh.
Lucid Motors and EVIQ Strengthen their Partnership
This week, it was announced that Lucid Motors and EVIQ, an EV charging network based in Saudi Arabia and majority-owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), have signed their second memorandum of understanding (MOU). In May of last year, they announced plans to build an extensive charging network across Saudi Arabia, with over 1,000 charging locations. Since that initial MOU, more than 50 charging stations have already been established.
Lucid Air and Gravity on Display in Canada
From Friday, February 14th to February 23rd, the Lucid Gravity and Lucid Air will be showcased at Canada’s largest auto show. This event has historically attracted over 300,000 visitors each year, and with orders just opening up, the Lucid booth is expected to be bustling with potential buyers!
