Lucid opened a new facility in the Motor City - This week, Lucid Motors had a grand opening ceremony for their research and development facility located in Detroit, a significant step forward for the electric vehicle manufacturer. This facility represents an investment in innovation and technology that aims to propel the company into the forefront of the automotive industry. The initiative was first mentioned back in February when Lucid received a substantial grant from the state of Michigan, aimed at fostering growth and development in the region, to open a facility in Southfield, Michigan. This facility will not only create jobs but also enhance the engineering and design processes for Lucid’s revolutionary electric vehicles, aiding in their commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge performance.
